Grandma's Highchair

This little highchair at my parents house is at least 80 years old. My grandmother sat in it when she was a baby as well as almost every child, grandchild and now, great-grandchildren of hers. It's the perfect size for Sophie right now. She loves sitting in it and banging things on the metal tray.

Her new favorite toy is a set of old, metal measuring spoons. Why do we bother buying new toys?

There's nothing like a little oatmeal to start the day.

I think it's cute that her feet don't stick out from under the tray yet.

That is cute. I especially like the black and white picture. My grandparents had an old high chair too that I remember using. It was also white but it was wooden and didn't have a tray, so maybe it was more of a booster seat.
