I have three reasons for posting this video.
1. To show you how excited Sophie gets over food. Particularly over a Chicken Tortilla Stew I made last night and just posted to my recipe blog. No matter what I give her to eat, she's always more interested in what we're eating. I've started giving her food right off my plate, which she loves. Even food that's slightly spicy. Her second tooth popped up yesterday. You'd think she has a mouth full of molars with the way she chews up food.
2. To let you hear her growl if you haven't already. Yes, Sophie growls. She started doing it around the time we moved here. She mostly does it when she's excited or anxious for something. Or while she's climbing stairs. It surprises most people who haven't heard it before. (Especially during church.) They expect dainty little sounds to come out of a dainty little girl, not ferocious animal ones.
3. To show you that Sophie finally learned to clap. She does it on command when we start saying "Pat-a-cake..." My grandma taught her that while we were at their house on Tuesday.

So the growling..totally cute and hilarious! I can't believe how big she is getting! I wish I could get my kids to eat food like that 8)
Wow, she never stops moving! She is hilarious. And that little growl is not what I expected to hear out of her. It sounds like a baby raptor or something. She is too cute.
WOW...she is growing up so fast! The growling is so cute (and funny). What a sweetie!
Jakob has started making the same noise, except a little louder and longer. In fact, he was just doing it as I was reading this post. It's kind of funny. She's pretty good at chewing away. Good for her!
Holy cow, I can't believe how excited she is! AND, I LOVE the growl.
oh my gosh! I used to growl when I was a little older because my babysitter (JD - oh so cute!) thought it was funny. She is just the cutest little wiggler ever. Nat, you and Steve make cute babies.
Thanks for sharing that! It was so funny to watch her excitement (and impatience), and especially to hear her growling. :) The clapping was very cute, too. :)
