My baby's sick. For the first time in her short 7 1/2 month life, something's not right in her little body. She had a fever all night and all day today. The fever's gone down, but now she has a runny nose and is crankier than cranky. Most of the time all she wants is for mama to hold her. I can't say I blame her. That was usually what made me feel better when I was sick. It's interesting being on the other side of that relationship.
I gave her a bath this morning to help her to feel better and urge her fever to drop. She perked up considerably. I think it was her ducky.

My kids have that exact same ducky and they love to eat the beak, too. Then I saw on the news that exact same ducky in a report on lead paint. Stupid, stupid lead paint. Well, we haven't died yet.
Poor Sophie! I hope she gets feeling better soon. :) We are going through the same thing here. :(
It was good to see you!!
awww. She's still so cute, even when she's sick.
Did you get a new camera? awesome pictures.
Nope, I still use my Elph camera. (And a little Picasa magic. haha.)
What an adorable little girl! Hope she's back to her healthy self soon.
OH, I hate to hear when kids are sick, because I hate being sick myself and I can't imagine being sick and unable to complain adequitly.
Awww, poor Sophie. Asher just had a fever last week too...I think he's getting some more teeth. If that's the case with Sophie, we use these things called Hyland's teething tablets...they're awesome (herbal, non-medicine type thing...some people might say herbs are just as bad as giving meds, but this stuff works, and he's feeling better...so I say it's worth it)
Soph is just about the cutest thing ever, and I totally agree with Sar: being sick must stink for her, because she can't tell you how much she's hurting. Sad day.
Hey- when were you in Russia? One of our teachers here did Russia too, and I'm wondering if it was around the same time.
